Alvin and the Chipmunks as it is known in English-speaking part as a musical group created in 1958 by Ross Bagdasarian singer's hit song "Oo-ee, oo-ah-ah, ting-tang, walla-walla, bing-bang." The group consists of three singing animated chipmunks: Alvin, Simon and Theodore. The trio is "represented" by his "father" human: David Seville. The Alvin Show

Alvin and the Chipmunks

In 2000, Bagdasarian Productions divided the contract with Universal Studios, to avoid monetary problems and to regain control over the characters Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Little Alvin and Mini-Chipmunks was launched on April 27, 2004. Instead of being lively, represents the Chipmunks and Chipettes as puppets.

In 2004, Twentieth Century Fox, Regency Enterprises and Bagdasarian Productions announced the completion of a film on the popular musical group and the series The Alvin Show. The new movie, Alvin and the Chipmunks, directed by Tim Hill and Jason Lee as David Seville, was released on December 14, 2007. This movie was bad criticism but a great collection.

On 23 December 2009 (USA) will release the second part, where Alvin and his brothers find new adventures and new rivals of The Chipettes. They are fighting the war of the bands where you will find love and rock'n roll.
