History:

Yourney is a game by Midway arcade in the 1980's. In 1983, the album's release brought the band borders Leading rock music in the 1980's. Bally / Midway decided to ride this wave of popularity and has created an arcade game based on the band. The game was meant to be published to coincide with a visit to the U.S. We used a novel way to capture the heads of the band members and thus give more spectacular in the game that would years later in Mortal Kombat. Curiosities:

chips The game had two AY-3-8910 which would play a tape of a cassette with the song Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) to reach the bonus. The Journey lyrics are electronic and these are: Do not Stop Believin ', Lights, Still They Ride, Stone In Love and Wheel In The Sky .

In 1982, the band contributed the song "Only Solutions" to the Disney movie Tron. Coincidentally, that same year Journey became the first band to inspire a video game: the arcade Journey by Bally / Midway and Journey Escape by Data Age for the Atari 2600 all curiosity.

Both the game like Tron Journy share the same specs except the buttons and the joystick.

Steve Perry was not convinced that a video game made the band, but the public liked and subsequent interview I accept the fact of its popularity.
